We are beyond excited about that we can finally say that the Frankfurt Writers’ Conference is a two day event! On Friday March 6th we have an amazing workshop planned with FWC regular Vanessa Fox O’Loughlin.
From keyboard to bookshelf
Thinking of submitting your book? What do you need to do to give your work the best possible chance of getting published? Vanessa will explain the blueprint from keyboard to bookshelf. Vanessa will discuss exactly what the industry is looking for – what’s hot and what’s not – and how best to submit your work. She will show you what you need to do to attract a publisher and how best to approach them. This workshop will give you concrete ways to improve your pitch, ideas on where to submit and give you a thorough understanding of how the business works in a relaxed and informal atmosphere where you can ask all those tricky questions. Focused on the participants’ needs, Vanessa will establish what genre you are writing in at the start of the workshop – be ready to give her a short outline/pitch (around three sentences) on your book!
